Day 01: Arrival & The Capital

Land in Paro and drive to Thimphu. This lower altitude (2,320m) is perfect for your first night. Visit the Great Buddha Dordenma for a sunset blessing.

Day 02: The Lowland Charm of Punakha

Cross the Dochula Pass (3,150m) to see the 108 stupas. Spend the day in Punakha, visiting the majestic "Palace of Great Happiness" (Punakha Dzong) and the famous suspension bridge.

Day 03: The Return to Paro & Preparation

Drive back to Paro. Visit the National Museum to understand the history of the trails you are about to hike. Spend the afternoon at a local café or gear shop, ensuring your daypack is ready for the mountain.

Day 04: Bumdrak Day 1 – The Ascent to the Clouds

• Distance: 7 km | Time: 4 hours | Camp Alt: 3,800m

• The Experience: Begin your climb from Sang Choekor. Trek through mossy forests to reach the high-altitude meadow of Bumdrak. Visit the "Cave of a Thousand Prayers" and enjoy a luxury camping experience with a sunset view over the Himalayas.

Day 05: Bumdrak Day 2 – The Sky Descent to Tiger’s Nest

• The Experience: Instead of hiking up with the crowds, you descend from the heavens. Pass through the "back door" of Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang), visiting the high temples (Zangtopelri) before the main monastery.

• The Recovery: Descend to the valley floor by mid-afternoon. Check into your Paro hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 06: The "Day of Rest" & Cultural Immersion

• Morning: Sleep in! Enjoy a slow breakfast overlooking the Paro valley.

• Afternoon: Indulge in a Traditional Bhutanese Hot Stone Bath. The river stones are heated in a fire and dropped into wooden tubs, releasing minerals that heal aching muscles.

• Evening: A formal Farewell Dinner with your guide and crew, perhaps featuring a traditional dance performance or a tasting of local Ara (rice spirit).

Day 07: Final Departure

A short 15-minute transfer to Paro International Airport. Bid farewell to the Land of the Thunder Dragon with refreshed spirits.
